Course Description
The SILC Creative & Entrepreneurial Summer Camp offers a rich and balanced programme incorporating creative activities, entrepreneurial training, outdoor activities as well as opportunities to explore many splendid areas of the French Riviera such as Nice and Cannes.
In Week 1 we focus on exploration, self-discovery and self-expression. With guidance from our senior trainers, award-winning photographers, filmmakers and artists, students get to experiment with a variety of creative activities and set out to create their own camp project whereby they focus in-depth on areas of their choice.
The SILC Leadership Camp in Gstaad
Students enjoy thrilling outdoor activities like canyoning, river rafting, rock climbing or via ferrata while developing their leadership skills such as communication, time management and collaboration and discovering the most stunning places in Switzerland, from the Gstaad Valley to Montreux, Interlaken and all the way up to the glaciers!
The participants will also finish camp with a course completion certificate and an overview Personal Action Plan, including all 21st Century competencies and skills learned. Many of our alumni see this as a valuable tool for future development and a great way to show mentors at school, friends or anyone else what they have learned.
The SILC Sea and Island Adventure in Corsica,France
Accompanied by qualified experts, our students develop important leadership and life skills while enjoying a wide range of activities, excursions, games and educational workshops over the course of the trip, with new experiences every day.
This exciting trip is open to anyone aged 12 to 17 who will benefit from a very personalised approach and a purpose-designed leadership programme delivered by experienced trainers, subject experts, and sports instructors. The programme is based around measurable learning outcomes which are fully integrated and applied in all outdoor activities.
The spectacular 2-week journey begins in Porto Vecchio in Corsica and continues westwards circling the entire island before ending back in Porto Vecchio, with many stunning stops along the way at hidden bays, cliffs, mountains, a Natural Reserve, as well as visits to the historic Mediterranean towns of Calvi, Ajaccio, and Bonificio.
